Scott R Vaughan, DVM
Dr. Vaughan is a 1989 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

He practiced in Las Vegas for 3 years following graduation before moving to Winston - Salem North Carolina in 1992 so that he could be closer to his family. He purchased China Grove Animal Hospital in December 2000.

He is married to Elizabeth and has two children. Elizabeth is a counselor and specializes in working with children. She uses pets as part of her therapy program.  They currently have one Golden Retriever and five cats but of course, that is always subject to change.


Dr. Vaughan is a proud member of Veterinary Information Network (VIN)   

He is currently a VIN Representative working behind the scenes.

He is an active member in the Cabarrus County Veterinary Association and is the current President.

Dr. Vaughan enjoys fly fishing, gardening and salt water aquariums.
